Paint Splice is one of Sydney’s largest Paint and Sip studios, based in Alexandria, offering a unique experience for everyone to enjoy.
We offer a different perspective on the usual Paint and Sip experiences, which is why we created our version – Paint-Sip-Party!
We include the usual – painting, painting equipment, the artist, a host and of course your favourite BYO alcoholic beverage (or non) and snacks, with a little extra such as music (to your taste), disco balls and lights, breaks (dancing encouraged). Some events also include drag queens, male models, trivia, games, prizes and more.
Paint Splice can also accommodate for all your needs such as cutlery, napkins, glassware, water, tea, coffee, a fridge, microwave, to make sure you are as comfortable as can be for your session. Just remember we are not limited to all the above, if you have any ideas to make your experience great, please let us know and we will be more than happy to assist.

Forget your art snobbishness and dive headfirst into a paint-filled night of fun & self exploration!Andy, our charismatic and easygoing host, guided us through a hilarious night of 80s tunes, glow-in-the-dark masterpieces, and questionable singing skills.Our wine flowed freely, the laughter was loud, and our paint skills seemed to improve significantly by wine bottle number two. Masterpiece or not, when you've got a memory like that shared with friends it is worth stepping out of your comfort zone,You'll leave with a smile wider than your canvas.Please note the studio only has stair access so be mindful if you have mobility issues.

Paint and Splice hosted us for a work social and everyone had a great time. It was a fun environment with the music and the lights and they were so accommodating and great to liaise with in organising. They made sure all our paintings looked fabulous and are ready to hang in the office.
Went on Valentines day and was my first ever paint and sip. Despite having no artistic ability of any kind, I found it easy to follow along and was really happy with my painting.Would absolutely recommend!

The Paint Splice team hosted a super fun hens party for my friend! The space is great, friendly hosts and they were so happy to have us there. Highly recommend for large or smaller groups!
We held a private function with Splice and I cant rate them high enough.They made the organising so seamless and answered all my questions. Very quick to respond and nothing was too much effort. they even made suggestions for food options.The event went off without a hitch and the hosts really go the crowd going.If you havent already - just book! The team are still talking about it almost a week later.Thanks Splice!

Paint Splice is the best paint and sip we've been to in Sydney. We held a hens for my sister - great service from Andy and Alex, really responsive and helpful in the lead up unlike many other paint and sips who never get back to you. Great space, really fun vibe with awesome music and plenty of space to mingle. They really made sure we had a good time - we enjoyed their fun, relaxed nature. Thank you - we'll be back again!

My partner and I had an incredible time at Paint Splice! The space is funky, complete with a disco ball that adds so much fun to the atmosphere. The music was absolutely amazing, and I couldn't resist singing and grooving to the tunes.But what truly made this place special were the owners/host, Alex and Andy. They're incredibly friendly and approachable, and it feels like you're hanging out with friends. They create a warm and welcoming environment that's just so awesome.And here's to Paint Splice for being LGBTQ+ friendly! It's a safe and inclusive space where you can truly be yourself. I attended Paint Splice as part of a group social event and really enjoyed myself. The hosts Alex and Andy looked after us and encouraged us to just have fun and not worry about a perfect masterpiece. This was good as I’m no artist but found myself having a great time. The venue was great and well organised with plenty of space to move about and chat with others. I’d definitely recommend attending an event as you’ll have a great time.

I recently had the pleasure of partaking in a painting session with Alex and Andy. Under their expert guidance, I was shown the steps and techniques to capture the exquisite beauty of a sunset beach on canvas. The duo's combined knowledge and passion for the art were evident throughout the session, making the experience both educational and deeply fulfilling. As someone based in Sydney, I have seen many sunsets, but to recreate one on canvas was a unique and invigorating challenge. Went here with my husband and we both had a great time. The music was awesome (80s hits!), and the painting steps were clearly explained and easy to follow. Having said that, participants were encouraged to make it their own, and we saw some beautiful variations from members of the class.I would recommend this place.
My husband visited for the first time today. We really enjoyed our experience. Alex was friendly and explained all the steps very clearly. The studio was amazing. He had 80's music going throughout the session. It really made for a relaxed atmosphere. Will be back. Definitely recommend!!!
Paint Splice held my sisters hens day and it was absolutely amazing!
