At Paint Splice we don't just paint and sip, we bring the party atmosphere and include party lighting*, awesome music, dance breaks, spin & win prizes, and a few surprises to make for a great time out!

What to Bring
All of our sessions are currently BYO. Please feel free to bring non-alcoholic drinks, alcoholic drinks (wine, bottled beer, cider, RTDs, pre-mixed bottles/cans), and snacks.
If you're unsure please call or email us and we'll be more than happy to confirm.
Please only bring enough alcohol for yourself/your group to consume during the session as responsible consumption of alcohol rules apply. (Please note that only pre-packaged, pre-mixed alcoholic drinks are allowed, no bottles of spirits, and no shots.)
Don't stress if you forget your drinks and snacks as there are plenty of nearby eateries, supermarkets and bottle shops within walking distance.
Where are We Located?
Our Spacious studio is located at Level 2, 494 Botany Road Alexandria. Above the store 'The Remnant Warehouse'.

There is street parking in the surrounding streets, and after business hours there is plenty of parking available behind the studio in Beaconsfield Lane.
We are only 10 minutes drive (or Uber) from the city, with bus routes on our doorstep to Redfern/Central and into the city, as well as south to Botany, and east to Maroubra.
What if I need to Cancel?
If you can't make it to your session for whatever reason (we understand these things happen) simply contact us via email or phone 48 hours prior to your session to either cancel or reschedule.

Are there Age Restrictions?
For events where alcohol may be consumed we may be required to check ID, as no alcohol is to be consumed by minors under the age of 18 - due to RSA laws. Please bring ID with you (and remind your friends to do the same). Please note - Adult/guardians will be responsible for minors if alcohol is present.

Had my daughter’s 10th birthday party here in November 2025 after reading so many positive reviews.
Andy, one of the staff members, reassured us that they were great with kids — so we decided to book. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing.
The female instructor, Malsi, showed no interest in engaging with the children. She was extremely task-oriented, and the kids became bored very quickly. She couldn’t read the room at all — when the children were disengaged, she just kept pushing through the activity.
One of the girls even ended up in tears because she felt left behind during the painting activity. Malai did nothing to support her, even though she clearly saw the child crying. As a parent, watching that was heartbreaking and unacceptable.
To make things worse, at the end of the session we were rushed out, told we had only 30 minutes to cut the cake, pack everything up, and leave — with 20 kids. Completely unrealistic and very stressful.
And the toilet? Overflowing with toilet paper before the party even started. Not what you expect when hosting an event for children.
Overall, this place might be okay for adults, but it is definitely not suitable for kids’ parties, especially with an instructor who clearly does not enjoy or understand working with children.
Very, very disappointing.
Please think twice before booking.
If I could give negative stars, I would.
Alex, in response to your comments, I would like to clarify several points.
Firstly, Andy did not make “four attempts” to remind me to pack up at the end of the session, as you stated. In fact, I was the one who approached him to ask whether it was time to cut the cake. At that point, I was rushed to proceed.
Regarding the toilet cleanliness, I don’t understand why this responsibility is being shifted onto me. Ensuring clean facilities before welcoming customers is a basic expectation of any business.
I was also told there would be music provided for the children, yet no music was played at all. There was no schedule breakdown for the day, and at no point during the booking process was I informed that the last 20 minutes of the session would be allocated to cake cutting.
Additionally, you mentioned there were two break periods during the session. This is incorrect. I had to personally request a break because I could clearly see the children were disengaged and the energy in the room was flat. Even then, the female instructor continued for another 10 minutes before finally stopping.
Overall, many of the explanations provided do not reflect what actually occurred on the day.

We don’t get out much being dedicated mama's, so our time at Paint Splice was really special. Andy honestly made the whole experience so much fun – he was the sweetest and absolutely awesome! He made us feel so comfortable and brought so much energy to the night. I went with my 2 besties and we had the best time together thanks to him. Highly recommend Paint Splice, especially if you get Andy – he’ll make it a night to remember! 💕🎨

Highly recommend! Held my 50th here and everyone raved about it afterwards. We brought in our own drinks and nibblies. There was plenty of time to chat and snack in the breaks and have a laugh during the painting sessions. I had great communication with Andy leading up to the event. It was my first paint and sip experience and I would definitely do it again. Thanks Andy and Alex for a fantastic afternoon!

Had a fun time at Paint Splice! Was super chill and Andy and Alex were encouraging and friendly. Perfect mix of creativity and fun. Whether you're artistic or not it's a fun way to spend your evening for a few hours. Definitely recommend.
